Pitching clinics

For beginners and experienced players

Learn to pitch or receive further training and advanced instruction from certified coaches and experienced pitchers.

Pitching clinics start in late September/early October and run for 20 weeks. Spring clinics start in January and run for 10 weeks.

These are open to all players age U11 and up regardless of pitching experience. Classes are about one hour per week at a North Shore school gym. Pitchers must bring their own catchers (parent, sibling, teammate, coach).

Our goal is to provide pitching instruction/coaching targeted to each group's level to help each player reach her maximum potential next season and produce the best pitchers possible at all levels.

Pitching coach: Izzy Dino

We're thrilled to welcome Izzy Dino as our new pitching coach. Izzy just came off her NCAA division 1 college softball career where she pitched for the University of Hawaii and Seattle University.

Izzy started her ball career with T-ball at the age of six and switched to softball the North Shore Girls Fastpitch Association when she was nine. She joined the Vancouver Wildcats 2000B rep team in 2013 and 2014, winning the U14B Provincial Championship in 2014. She then moved to the Richmond Islanders 2000 Rep A team for her final four seasons of softball in high school from 2015 to 2018, leading her team to a 5th-place finish in the U16A National Championships in 2015, a 3rd-place finish in the U16A Provincial Championships in 2016, and a 2nd-place finish in the U18A Provincial Championships in 2018. She received multiple game MVP awards in the Canadian National Championships.

Izzy was also a part of Team Canada's Junior Women’s National Team pool in 2018 and part of the Philippine Senior National Team for the International Cup in 2019.

Izzy graduated from West Vancouver Secondary School in 2018 and continued her softball career at the NCAA division 1 level at the University of Hawaii, where she played her first three years of college softball from 2018 to 2021, earning Big West Freshman of the Week in 2019, a place on the 2019 Big West All-Freshman Team, and pitching a no-hitter in her first college win. She transferred to Seattle University to play her final two years of college softball in Seattle from 2021 to 2023.

Izzy is looking forward to returning to her hometown of North Vancouver to coach young softball pitchers.
