Fields

The main venue for the tournament is McCartney Park, 1600 Larkhall Crescent in North Vancouver. Most games as well as the Opening Ceremonies, skills competition, team dinner, and closing Medals Ceremony will be held at McCartney Park.

Games will also be held at Lynn Valley Park, 3300 Mountain Highway.

There are two unused diamonds (one at McCartney Park and one at Lynn Valley Park) that will be available for warm-up between games, but teams will have to share these fields. All fields are available for practice until 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 7.

Tournament Headquarters

The tournament headquarters will be located on the grass area east of the McCartney clubhouse. This is where you will find volunteers to answer any questions you may have, as well as the Protest Committee, scorekeeping, the results boards, and first aid.

There is a full-service concession and barbeque in the clubhouse offering a delicious variety of hot and cold food as well as drinks, snacks and frozen treats.

There are two change rooms in the clubhouse which are reserved for official's use; teams may not use either of these change rooms. The east change room is reserved for use by the umpires, and the west change room is reserved for use as the first aid room as well as the organizing committee office.

There are washrooms on the outside of the clubhouse at the west end.

Coaches Meeting

The coaches meeting will be held in Mary Hunter Hall (room R11) at the Parkgate Community Centre, 3625 Banff Court.

Parking

While there is some parking in the lot at McCartney, the majority of the parking is on Larkhall Crescent to the east of the park entrance, and also on Northlands Drive to the south of Larkhall.

Please respect our neighbours by not parking in front of homes, mailboxes or private property! Parking is not allowed past the barricades on Orkney Place or Larkhall Crescent.

There are also two special areas in the McCartney lot where parking is restricted. The east end of the lot directly behind diamond 1 is a loading zone for teams to drop off and pick up players and equipment. The west end of the lot by the tennis courts is reserved parking for tournament officials, special guests and emergency vehicles.

Hotel

Note: This block of rooms and the tournament rate quoted here is available until June 17.

Our accommodation partner is the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites North Vancouver, 700 Old Lillooet Road, conveniently located just off Highway #1 at the north end of the Second Narrows bridge and five minutes away from McCartney Park by car. We have booked a block of rooms and arranged a Provincials rate for teams travelling to the North Shore.
