Supermites Compete In "A" Pool At Mite Championships

The Supermites rep development team played in the Mite Club Championship tournament in Burnaby on July 2-4, 2010. We had a tough draw in the round robin, playing two teams that finished in the top three, but we still made the A pool final finishing 7th overall. We played Ridge Meadows in the quarter finals and were leading 3-1 after four innings, but they got 4 on us in the fifth and we ended up losing 5-4. Ridge Meadows got a scare from us, and they ended up going on to win the gold medal.
