Shade Tent
Kathy Barnard has donated a large red canopy to help protect our players and parents from the harmful effects of the sun.
Kathy is a long-time coach with the league and a skin cancer survivor. Kathy founded the Save Your Skin Foundation, www.saveyourskin.ca, which is dedicated to educating people on the dangers of the sun.
The canopy is located in the west change room of the McCartney Concession. If you are at McCartney on a sunny day, please feel free to put the tent out so that players and spectators have shade (and of course, put it away afterward).
